Siyanda Zwane and Bidvest Wits have parted ways by mutual agreement following what was a marriage that never worked out as described by the player himself.
Zwane joined Wits from Mamelodi Sundowns at the start of the 2019/20 season after his loan deal expired at Golden Arrows but things just never got going for Zwane at Wits and says he has no regrets about joining Wits.
“Like a marriage … I was married to Wits, we decided to go our separate ways. We still got love and respect for each other always,” said Zwane.
“In my whole career I never spoke bad about any coach or club because no-one is perfect, rather give respect, shake hands and be grateful.
“Be a good human being even when things are against you because that is where your character is tested. I wish the coach (Gavin Hunt) and the team nothing but the best,” he added.
Zwane made his name at Golden Arrows under then coach Manqoba Mngqithi and went on to help the club win the MTN8 Cup thrashing Ajax Cape Town 6-0 at Orlando Stadium back in 2009.
