Nedbank Cup semi-final draw and final venue confirmed

The PSL have confirmed the Nedbank Cup semi-finals draw and announced the venue for the final showdown following the conclusion of mouthwatering quarter-final matches on Sunday, 14 April 2024.

The draw for the semi-finals of the tournament took place this evening at Mbombela Stadium in Mpumalanga.

It was broadcast live on the PSL SuperSport channel 202 and SABC 1 immediately after the semi-final match between TS Galaxy and Chippa United in Mbombela.

Mamelodi Sundowns became the first team to advance to the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup after winning 4-3 on penalties against AmaTuks. The match ended in a 1-1 draw after a gruelling 120 minutes at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Friday evening.

Stellenbosch FC were the second team to progress to the last four on Saturday afternoon. They eased past SuperSport United with a 4-0 scoreline at Danie Craven Stadium.

The defending champions, Orlando Pirates, advanced to the Nedbank Cup last four. They defeated AmaZulu 4-2 in a sold-out quarter-final tie at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday evening. The two sides will face each other once again in a league match on Saturday, April 20th, 2024.

Meanwhile, Chippa United cruised their way into the semis following their 2-0 win over TS Galaxy at Mbombela Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

PSL CONFIRM NEDBANK CUP FINAL VENUE

The Nedbank Cup final will be held at Mbombela Stadium on Saturday, 1 June 2024.

Bafana Ba Style, Stellies, Orlando Pirates, and Chippa United will battle in the semis for a spot in the finals.

SEMI-FINALS FULL DRAW

The first team drawn will be playing at home, and the second team drawn will be the visitors.

The PSL will announce the dates and kickoff times for the semi-final fixtures in due course.
