Baroka defender Matome Kgoetyane was lucky to come out of a vehicle unharmed while on his way to his place of resident this week.
It is believed the Bakgaga right-back lost control of his car which in turn hit an astray animal.
The accident happened on Monday night, two days before the 2-0 loss to Bloemfontein Celtic.
The 29-year-old has reportedly recovered from the shock and is back training with the rest of his teammates.
Baroka marketing manager Richard Mashabane declined to comment saying the club has not been made aware of the incident.
The player was not available for a comment.
