Free State ABC Motsepe League outfit Sinenkani has appointed a new technical team to lead the side for the upcoming season.
The club have acquired the services of Moses Khanyeza as the team’s new head coach. The new man in charge will be assisted by Sibusiso Nuku [first assistant coach] and Mkhuseli Mfeketho [second assistant coach].
Sinenkani also confirmed the appointment of goalkeeper coach Ayanda Nyosana and general manager Melikhaya Mazeka.
The Bochabelo-based club finished second in Stream B of the provincial ABC League with 29 points, just two points behind stream winners BCM Stars.
Sinenkani is a very ambitious team and have set sight on promoting the team to the Motsepe Foundation Championship next campaign.
The team also has its eyes on the 2023 Nedbank Cup qualification, with their first game scheduled to take place on Saturday, 17 September, against Bizana Pondo Chiefs.
The club’s hierarchy stated that it has full confidence in their new technical team as all of them have been part of the team for a reasonable time and understand the ups and downs of the team.
Meanwhile, after many considerations by the management, the side officially announced the team of captains as the new season looms large.
“The appointment of the captain together with three vice-captains is part of our efforts to enhance the team’s potential and capacity ahead of this season in order to make sure that we produce a highly competitive team,” read Sinenkani’s statement.
“Appointing this team is inspired by our conviction of combining the experience of the old and harnessing the energy of the young.
“This team will be working together with the Technical team on and off the field, guided by our team’s philosophy of working for the masses to take the team to the promised land.”
